Tell us enough to route the question well

Useful details include the space or site type, dimensions, mounting height, target illuminance or governing standard, preferred CCT and CRI, environmental rating, dimming protocol, project location, quantity range, and decision date. If those items are not yet known, describe the visual task and what currently causes difficulty.

For a photometric question, attach the plan scale, calculation plane, reflectance assumptions, light-loss factor, and any existing luminaire file revision. For a control question, note the required protocol, zone count, sensor intent, emergency behavior, network responsibility, and commissioning party. For an outdoor application, identify property lines, adjacent uses, pole constraints, spill criteria, and surge environment.

A response may request more information before recommending a comparison. This protects the project from false precision: luminous flux alone does not establish distribution, a nominal IP rating does not describe every exposure, and a protocol label does not confirm that every device or sequence is interoperable.

We can discuss selection logic and documentation, but final compliance, structural design, circuit design, network performance, and field measurements remain with the qualified project team. Product availability and certification scope must be confirmed for the named model and destination.
