Musco Privacy Policy
How project enquiries and website interactions are handled.
Information collected
When you submit a form, we may receive your name, business contact details, company, phone number, and project message. Documents you voluntarily provide can contain site, schedule, equipment, or application information. Technical logs may record device, browser, approximate location, referring page, and service activity for security and performance. Please avoid sending personal or confidential data that is not necessary for a lighting enquiry.
Why it is used
Information is used to respond to enquiries, identify the appropriate application or regional contact, maintain service security, prevent misuse, and understand website operation. Project information can also help clarify which product documents, photometric resources, control interfaces, certification scope, or commercial steps need discussion. We do not use a project enquiry as permission to publish its details or represent the sender as a customer.
Legal basis and choices
Processing may rely on steps requested before a business transaction, legitimate interests in answering and securing the service, consent where required, or legal obligations. You can choose not to provide optional fields, though missing context may limit the usefulness of a response. Marketing communications, where offered, should include an unsubscribe method and are handled separately from a technical enquiry.
Sharing and international handling
Data may be shared with service providers, authorized representatives, or affiliated teams needed to host the service and respond, subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations. Information may be processed in another jurisdiction when regional routing or infrastructure requires it. Appropriate safeguards are used where applicable. Data may also be disclosed when law, valid legal process, safety, or service protection requires it.
Retention and security
Records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the enquiry, project history, legal duties, security, and dispute handling. Administrative, organizational, and technical controls are used to reduce unauthorized access, alteration, and loss, but no internet transmission or storage method can be promised as completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, or applicable processing restrictions. Identity and request scope may need verification. Some records can be retained when law, security, contract administration, or legal claims require it. Browser controls can limit optional cookies, although essential service functions may still operate.
Contact
Send privacy questions through Contact Us and identify the request as privacy-related. Describe the right you wish to exercise, the contact detail used in the enquiry, and the approximate submission date so the relevant record can be located.
